Terms of Service

By creating an account on The 92% Plus (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, please do not create an account or use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all members regardless of membership tier (Basic, Standard, or Premium).

The 92% Plus is a community platform built for and by Black women. Our mission is to create a safe, professional, and uplifting space for skill sharing, career growth, mental wellness, and economic empowerment. Every feature we build is in service of that mission.

Every member agrees to uphold the following standards:

• Respect: Treat every member with dignity. Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or bullying of any kind — including based on race, gender, religion, sexuality, disability, or age — will result in immediate account suspension.
• Authenticity: You must represent yourself honestly. Creating fake profiles, impersonating others, or misrepresenting your credentials is prohibited.
• Privacy: Do not share another member’s personal information, private messages, or contact details without their explicit consent.
• Safe space: This platform is a safe space. Content that is harmful, exploitative, sexually explicit, or illegal is strictly prohibited.

The Skill Share feature is built on a philosophy of community reciprocity — not commercial exchange. By participating in Skill Share, you agree that:

• Skills listed in Skill Share are offered in a spirit of community giving, not paid service promotion.
• You will not use the Skill Share directory to solicit paid work, advertise services, or collect payment from other members.
• Paid services must be listed exclusively through the Member Marketplace, available to Premium members.
• Misuse of Skill Share for commercial purposes may result in listing removal or account suspension.

Premium members may promote their professional services through the Member Marketplace. By posting a listing, you agree to the following:

• Community Workshop Commitment: You will host a minimum of two (2) free online community workshops, webinars, or coaching sessions per calendar year. Each session must include a take-away asset (e.g., a recording, guide, template, or lead magnet) and must be open to all members regardless of tier.
• Advance Notice: Sessions must be posted in the community calendar at least two (2) weeks before they occur.
• In-Platform Communication: All service inquiries and initial communications must be conducted through The 92% Plus messaging system. Redirecting members to external platforms, sharing personal contact information in DMs for the purpose of bypassing the marketplace, or soliciting members outside the platform is a violation of these Terms.
• Honest Representation: Service descriptions, pricing, credentials, and any claims made in your listing must be accurate and truthful.
• Non-Compliance: Failure to fulfill the workshop commitment within a six-month period will result in your listing being paused. Continued non-compliance may result in permanent listing removal. Account suspension is reserved for repeated or bad-faith violations.

The 92% Plus offers three membership tiers:

• Basic (Free): Limited access to community features.
• Standard ($25/month): Full community access, unlimited messaging, grants directory, and career search.
• Premium ($55/month): All Standard features plus full platform access — the Grants Directory, Therapist Directory, and Upskilling Hub — monthly online workshops and webinars, and the ability to post your services in the Member Marketplace.

Billing is processed monthly. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not offer partial-month refunds.

Pricing is subject to change with 30 days’ notice to active subscribers.

You retain ownership of content you post on the Platform (messages, profile information, service listings, etc.). By posting, you grant The 92% Plus a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on the Platform for the purpose of providing the service.

You are solely responsible for content you post. The 92% Plus does not endorse, verify, or guarantee any member’s credentials, services, or claims.

Your privacy matters deeply to us. We collect only what is necessary to run the platform and improve your experience. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

The 92% Plus reserves the right to:

• Remove any content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
• Pause or remove Member Marketplace listings for non-compliance with the workshop commitment.
• Suspend or permanently ban accounts for serious, repeated, or bad-faith violations — including harassment, fraud, or exploitation.
• Modify platform features, pricing, or access levels with reasonable notice to members.

We will always attempt to notify members before taking action and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue, except in cases of serious violations requiring immediate action.

The 92% Plus is a community platform, not a professional services provider. We do not verify the credentials, qualifications, or claims of any member. Any services arranged between members are solely between those parties — The 92% Plus is not responsible for the outcome of any transaction, engagement, or professional relationship formed through the Platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The 92% Plus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will notify active members by email and post the updated version here with a revised date. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
