At The 92% Plus, your privacy is not just a legal obligation — it's a value. This platform was built for Black women, by people who understand the importance of safe, trusted spaces. We are committed to being transparent about what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

1. Who We Are

The 92% Plus is a community impact platform for Black women. We provide tools for skill sharing, grant discovery, career support, wellness resources, and community connection. Our platform is operated by The 92% Plus LLC.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

  • Account information: name, email address, password
  • Profile information: bio, profession, location, skills, avatar photo, social links
  • Content you post: community posts, messages, grant applications, therapy bookings
  • Membership and billing information (processed by third-party payment providers)

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, time spent on the platform
  • Device and browser information
  • Authentication data managed by Supabase (our secure database provider)

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account
  • To match you with skill-share partners based on your listed skills
  • To personalize your dashboard with relevant grants, jobs, and events
  • To enable community features: posts, messages, and member discovery
  • To send you notifications about account activity and platform updates (you can opt out)
  • To improve the platform and fix technical issues
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Ever.

Your data is yours. We use it only to make The 92% Plus work for you. We do not share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Data Sharing

We share your information only in these limited circumstances:

  • With other members — your profile information is visible to other signed-in members per your privacy settings. You control your visibility from Settings → Privacy & Visibility.
  • With service providers — we use Supabase for secure data storage and authentication, and third-party payment processors for membership billing. These providers are bound by strict data protection agreements.
  • For legal compliance — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our members.

6. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously. We use industry-standard encryption, secure authentication (via Supabase), and role-based access controls to protect your information. All data is stored on servers with SOC 2 compliance.

However, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to sign out when using shared devices.

7. Your Rights & Choices

  • Access — you can view all information in your profile at any time
  • Edit — you can update your profile information from Settings → Profile
  • Delete — you can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing [email protected]
  • Opt out of notifications — manage notification preferences from Settings → Notifications
  • Control visibility — manage who can see your profile from Settings → Privacy & Visibility

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and maintain your session. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may prevent you from signing in.

9. Children's Privacy

The 92% Plus is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us at [email protected].

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify members via email or an in-platform notice for significant changes.
